The von Racknitz winery is located in the idyllic central Nahe valley, in the estuary of the Glan and Nahe rivers, in the Odernheim community. The estate, previously the Disibodenberg Monastery, is since 200 years in the hands of the family. Luise von Racknitz-Adams and Matthias Adams are the owners of the estate since 2003. The 15 hectare vineyards in different sites are planted with Riesling vines (95%), some of them 70 years old. The other varietals are Pinot Gris and Pinot Meunier. The annual production reaches 50,000 bottles.

The Recanati Winery was founded in 2000 by a group of wine lovers led by Lenny Recanati, an Israeli indus-trialist and a scion to a bankers’ dynasty. Head wine-maker Gil Shatsberg is leading a team of young wine-makers that produce a wide variety of wines from white varietals Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, French Colom-bard and Emerald Riesling and red varietals Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz/Syrah, Zinfandel, Barbera and Petite Sirah. For these grape varietals Recanati relies on selected vineyards from the Upper Gallilee, Lower Gallilee and Ella Valley. Annual production reaches one million bottles.
